An awesome community of hard training individuals with a desire to work hard and play harder.
A class suitable for all abilities, from total beginners to the most seasoned gym rats.
First time coming along? Just turn up a bit early and say hi, I'll sort you out.
Working hard since 2018.

MetFit is a place to work hard whilst encouraging each other throughout the workouts, often working in teams and enjoying the competitive environment. Get a sweat on and push yourself to be fitter than ever before.
We use different training styles to keep the blood pumping. A mixture of cardio and weightlifting. Intervals, tabata, EMOM, AMRAP, circuits and cross training. There's something for everybody and no two sessions are the same.
The beauty of mixing it up every week is you never plateau. Your body doesn't get a chance to settle into a routine, which is exactly why people who come regularly see results they couldn't get from smashing the treadmill for an hour on their own.

MetFit is all about community.
In every session there will be laughter and camaraderie guaranteed. Work hard and play hard attitude. Once a month after class we share some treats to reward our hard efforts. Bonus points to you if you bring a MetFit decorated cake.
This isn't one of those sterile gym classes where nobody talks to each other and everybody leaves the second it finishes. People stay behind, chat, and genuinely look forward to Thursdays.
Each session runs for about an hour and usually follows a loose structure:
Warm-up to get the blood flowing and loosen everything up, often with some light cardio and mobility work.
Main workout which changes every single week. One Thursday it might be a team-based AMRAP where you're partnering up to smash out as many rounds as possible in a set time. Another week it could be a tabata circuit hitting strength and conditioning. Sometimes we go for longer intervals with weightlifting mixed in.
Finisher at the end digging deep to make those serious improvements.
The intensity is adjustable. You push as hard as you want to, and I'll give you modifications for anything you're not confident with or physically can't do yet. Nobody gets left behind and nobody gets forced to do something that's not right for them.
Two ways to get started, whichever feels easier:
Just show up. Come to PureGym Bitterne studio on a Thursday at 19:15 (arrive a few minutes early so I can say hello and show you around). No booking, no fuss.
Message me first. If you'd rather have a quick chat before your first class, drop me a WhatsApp or an email and I'll answer anything you want to know.
Each class is £5. You can pay as you go or buy in blocks and use up as you go along. No membership, no monthly fee, no contract.
Training is at PureGym Southampton Bitterne, every Thursday evening at 19:15 in the studio.
Absolutely. Workouts are supposed to be hard, but if you're totally new don't worry. I'll give you alternatives for any exercises you can't do or you aren't confident with. I'll adapt the workout for YOUR skill level. Most people who come in nervous on their first class are completely fine by the second.
You'll need access to PureGym Bitterne to get into the studio. If you're not already a member, message me and I'll talk you through options.
Nope. Just turn up to PureGym Bitterne studio on a Thursday at 19:15 and have a chat with me. If you'd rather ask a few questions first or let me know you're coming, drop me a message on WhatsApp (07515560640) or email PT@andres.fitness. Either works.
